노란 콧물이 2주 이상 지속될 경우, 증상이 4주 이내인 경우를
급성축농증으로 보며 약물치료로 후유증 없이 회복이 가능합니다.

축농증(부비동염)
콧속 부비동에 고름이 고여있는 것으로 증상은 노란 콧물, 가래와 함께
코막힘이 2주 이상 지속된다면 축농증을 의심해 보아야 합니다.
급성축농증
노란 콧물이 2주 이상 지속될 경우, 증상이 4주 이내인 경우를
급성축농증으로 보며 약물치료로 후유증 없이 회복이 가능합니다.
만성축농증
CT 촬영 및 부비동 내시경 검사를 통해 원인을 파악한 후
약물 치료를 시행해야 합니다.
급성축농증 & 만성축농증
축농증은 증상 발생 기간에 따라 급성축농증과 만성축농증으로 구분할 수 있습니다.
급성축농증
노란 콧물이 2주 이상 지속될 경우,

감기
감기가 발생하게 되면 부비동이 부었다 가라앉기를
반복하며 부비동의 기능이 저하되는데
이에 축농증이 생길 수 있습니다.
비염
비염이 제대로 치료되지 않았거나 악화되었을 때
비강의 염증이 부비동까지 영향을 미쳐
축농증이 생길 수 있습니다.
면역력저하
운동 부족, 식습관의 불균형, 수면 부족 등의 원인으로
면역력이 저하되면서
축농증이 생길 가능성이 높아집니다.
축농증의 치료법
축농증은 발생 초기에 약물 치료를 시행하는 것이 중요합니다
부비동 안에 염증이 없어지고 코 점막이 완전히
회복되는데 시간이 소요되기 때문에
증상이 없어진 이후에도 약물치료를
지속하는 것이 중요합니다

코세척
코 세척은 콧속의 점막을 깨끗하게 해줌으로써 코막힘을 완화시켜주고, 코 내부 점막이 건조하지 않게 해줍니다.
또한 코 내부의 이물질을 걸러내 주기 때문에 축농증을 앓고 있지 않더라도
하루 1-2회 정도 해주는 것이 축농증 예방과 관리에 큰 도움이 됩니다.
